塑料方桶5 升和 10 升Hello! We'll suggest the right size for your product, calculate pallets, and quote a price for your order.
The plastic handle weighs from 1.3 g on the 1 L bucket to 5.2 g on the 5.6 L bucket, and it has no metal parts at all. Buyers choose it for packaging that shoppers carry home from the store by hand: sour cream, honey, jam, sauces, and Korean-style salads. The lineup starts at 800 ml. On the 900 ml bucket, the handle is molded in one piece with the body. The 800 ml and 850 ml sizes come in both versions, separate and molded-in. We make these buckets in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ) and supply packers in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Plastic handles come in two types. A separate handle is attached to the body after molding. A molded-in handle comes out of the mold together with the bucket: that is how the 900 ml bucket and the second 800 ml and 850 ml models are made. The table lists every version with handle weight, empty weight, and buckets per pallet, so buyers can estimate a purchase right away.
| Volume | Model | Handle type | Handle weight | Tare weight | Per pallet, pcs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 800 ml | PKS800 | separate or molded-in | 1.3 g | 29.5 g | 6,480 |
| 850 ml | PKS850 | separate or molded-in | 1.3 g | 32.5 g | 7,200 |
| 900 ml | PKS900H | molded-in, one piece with body | part of the body | 34 g | 7,200 |
| 1 L | PK10 | separate | 1.3 g | 36 g | 6,480 |
| 2.3 L | PK23 | separate | 3.4 g | 62 g | 3,300 |
| 3 L | PK30 | separate | 5.0 g | 95 g | 2,800 |
| 3.8 L | PK38 | separate | 5.0 g | 110 g | 2,800 |
| 5.6 L | PK56 | separate | 5.2 g | 156 g | 1,920 |
The lightest handle, 1.3 g, is used on the 800 ml, 850 ml, and 1 L buckets and adds almost nothing to the empty weight. From 2.3 L to 5.6 L, the plastic handle is one of two options; the other is a metal bail handle. If you need no handle at all, choose the 560 ml bucket: it has none.
Metal is essential for heavy loads, but in retail and food production it has downsides: extra grams in every unit, rust in wet production areas, and a possible false alarm at package inspection. A plastic handle solves these issues when the product weighs from a few hundred grams to a few kilograms and the bucket travels a short distance. Here are four reasons that most often tip the choice toward plastic.

Dairy and sauce lines often run a metal detector that checks every package. A bucket with no metal parts passes like any other plastic packaging and causes no false rejects. That means fewer line stops and fewer questionable buckets set aside as rejects pending review.
A plastic handle has nothing to rust, so washing and moisture in a refrigerated display case leave no marks on it. No rusty stains appear at the attachment points, and the packaging looks just as neat on fill day as after several months on the shelf.
On the 2.3 L bucket, the plastic handle weighs 3.4 g and the metal bail handle 13.4 g. On a pallet of 3,300 buckets, that is a 33 kg difference; on the 5.6 L bucket at 1,920 per pallet, about 31 kg. A light product simply doesn't need this metal.
Shoppers carry a bucket of sour cream or honey a couple of blocks home, in a bag or by hand. A light plastic handle is enough for that trip. In winter, it doesn't chill the fingers like wire does, and it leaves no red line on the palm.
Separate or molded-in: the handle type depends on size and model. Choose a bucket, and the calculator shows it to scale, along with handle type and weight, empty weight, and units per pallet.

We ship in full pallets, so the pallet count is rounded up.
We calculate from the top dimensions of the packaging: a single layer, with no gaps between items.

193 mmBoth types of plastic handle do the same job: they let a shopper pick up the bucket with one hand. But they behave differently on the filling line, on the shelf, and in a shopping bag. Look at the fill weight, how the store displays the bucket, and the number of steps on your line. Many plants find it easiest to stock both: a 1 L bucket with a separate handle for sour cream and a 900 ml bucket with a molded-in handle for sauces and salads.
Small buckets with plastic handles nest tightly inside each other: one pallet holds 6,480 buckets of 1 L or 7,200 buckets of 900 ml. That stock lasts a store or dairy plant a long time and takes little warehouse space. You can pick up pallets from the factory warehouse in the Bishkek FEZ, Ak-Chiy village, or receive them on our own delivery trucks in Bishkek and across Chuy Region. For buyers in Osh, Jalal-Abad, Karakol, Naryn, and Talas, we ship by freight carrier. Packers in Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, and Karaganda receive buckets by the pallet within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Our sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when placing your order.

A plastic handle works with a clear body, in-mold labeling (IML), and a tamper-evident seal on the lid. For heavy fills, compare it with a metal bail handle.

With metal bail handleGalvanized steel bail handle, plastic grip from 8 L: dry mixes, paint, wholesale honey, and food service2.3-21 L800 ml, 850 ml, 1 L, 2.3 L, 3 L, 3.8 L, and 5.6 L come with a separate plastic handle. The 900 ml bucket has a molded-in handle, and the 800 ml and 850 ml sizes have a second model with a molded-in handle. Food-grade buckets from 8 L come with a metal bail handle only, fitted with a plastic grip.
A molded-in handle is formed in one cycle together with the body, as a single part. That is how the 900 ml bucket and models PKS800H and PKS850H are made. You don't need to fit it on the filling line, and it can't get lost in storage. A separate handle is its own part that attaches to the body.
Yes. This size comes with two handle options: a 21.4 g metal bail handle without a plastic grip and a 5.2 g plastic handle. If your product is light and nobody carries the full bucket far, the plastic handle will do. Discuss your order volume with a sales manager.
Yes: the 560 ml bucket comes without a handle and has only lugs on the body. Buyers use it for single-serve packs, where the bucket is held in the palm rather than by a handle.

Yes. For a small order, a label on the finished bucket works well. For a large order volume, choose IML: the label is fused into the wall during molding and doesn't wash off. Learn more about the technology on our IML printing page.
Yes, by the pallet within the EAEU to Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, Karaganda, and other cities. Our sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when placing your order. One pallet holds 6,480 buckets of 1 L or 1,920 of 5.6 L, so it's easiest to plan your order in pallets.
See dimensions and weight for every size in the "Buckets by size" section. If your product is heavy and the bucket is often carried full, compare this option with buckets with metal handle. All sizes come in white and clear polypropylene, so the handle type doesn't limit your body color choice.
Tell us what product you pack and how many grams per bucket, how the bucket sits on the shelf, and who carries it: a shopper going home or a worker on the floor. Our sales manager will suggest a handle type and size. If you're torn between plastic and metal, we'll compare both by empty weight and buckets per pallet.
