塑料方桶5 升和 10 升Hello! We'll suggest the right size for your product, calculate pallets, and quote a price for your order.
Jerry cans in 5 and 10 L sizes for sunflower and cottonseed oil. Oil mills in Jalal-Abad and across the south fill them for stores and bazaars, and cafes, ashkanas, and plov centers buy their oil in exactly this kind of packaging. The cap screws onto a threaded neck, the handle is molded as one piece with the body, and the flat front panel takes your label. We mold the jerry cans in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ) and ship by the pallet across Kyrgyzstan and to Kazakhstan.
An oil mill measures its batches in tonnes but bottles them by the liter. A liter of oil weighs about 0.92 kg: enter your batch, and the tool shows how many jerry cans and pallets it takes. One tonne of oil fills 218 of the 5 L jerry cans or 109 of the 10 L.
Enter the net weight and the calculator will pick packaging from this page.
We ship in full pallets, so the number of pallets is rounded up.
Calculated by the top size of the packaging, in a single layer, with no gaps between neighboring items.
240 mm
296 mmFirst decide who the end buyer is: a family, a kitchen, or a reseller at the bazaar. That determines the jerry can size, the label copy, and even how you'll stack the batch in the warehouse. Many oil mills stock both sizes: one for retail, the other for food service.
An oil mill sells by the tonne; a store sells by the liter. Sunflower and cottonseed oil have a density of about 0.92 kg/L, so a liter weighs noticeably less than a kilogram, and a tonne takes more jerry cans than you might think. The table converts an oil batch into jerry cans and pallet spaces for both sizes and helps you order packaging with a small margin from the start.

Jerry can counts are rounded up: the last can in the batch won't be full, so plan for it. For ten tonnes, the ten-liter can saves two pallets: 11 pallet spaces versus 13. The five-liter makes sense where families, not kitchens, buy the oil. If you sell both sizes, calculate each row separately and add up the pallet spaces.
In the south, oil doesn't travel far: cotton and sunflower seeds are pressed near the fields, and the oil goes out to bazaars in Jalal-Abad and Osh, to cafes, and to home kitchens. Each stage expects something different from the jerry can, and one design handles all four jobs. Only the size and the label change, and we mold both jerry cans in the same plant.

Small mills in Jalal-Abad Region, in Bazar-Korgon, Nooken, and around Osh, bottle their oil once it has settled and been filtered. The rectangular jerry can stands steady under the filling tap, and the flat panel takes a label with the pressing date. One packaging shape across the whole line simplifies packing, inventory, and warehouse stacking.
Kitchens buy cottonseed oil for plov in ten-liter jerry cans. The cook pours out what's needed and screws the cap right back on to keep flour, water, and kitchen fumes out of the oil. An empty can is easy to carry out with one hand, and unlike a glass bottle, it won't break.
At the markets in Osh and Jalal-Abad, oil is sold both in whole jerry cans and loose, poured to order. A shopper from Uzgen or Kara-Suu carries five liters home in one hand, and the seller lines the cans up tightly without wasting counter space. A white body with a bright label stands out in a row of imported oil.
Wholesalers think in tonnes. A pallet holds 100 ten-liter jerry cans, or 920 kg of oil, so the warehouse plans shipments in full pallets without counting units. For a truck heading south or to Kazakhstan, that makes it easier to build the load and check the weight against the waybill.
We ship jerry cans to oil mills in Jalal-Abad and Osh Regions through a freight carrier. If your truck comes to Bishkek, you can pick up packaging from the factory warehouse in the Bishkek FEZ, Ak-Chiy village. In Bishkek and across Chuy Region, we deliver with our own trucks, and to Karakol, Naryn, and Talas through a carrier. For buyers in Shymkent, Turkestan, Almaty, and other cities in Kazakhstan, we ship by the pallet within the EAEU. Your sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when you place the order. Order packaging well before pressing season so your filling line never sits idle.

Vinegar and sauces are often filled on the same line as oil, along with drinking water for kitchens and dachas.

Add 240 and 420 grams respectively for the empty jerry can. This matters when oil is sold by weight rather than by the liter: on the waybill and the label, use the unit you actually sell in.
Usually 10 L: they go through a lot of oil, and there are half as many empty cans after a shift. The five-liter suits small cafes without a separate storeroom, since it fits on a shelf next to the stove.
It will if you fill carelessly and don't wipe the neck. Wipe the neck after filling, and order labels with a protective coating. A drip on the smooth front panel wipes off in one swipe, but wipe the ribs at the base separately, since grease collects there.

Yes. A label with the oil's name, grade, pressing date, and your mill's contact details goes on the flat front panel. Label size and placement are agreed when you order the print run. You can order different labels for cottonseed and sunflower oil on the same jerry can.

Closed, in a cool, dark place, away from strong-smelling foods and household cleaning products. Once a can is open, screw the cap back on after each use. For a detailed guide, see our blog article on storing oil without waste, which also has tips for warehouses and stores.
Dimensions, empty weight, and units per pallet for both sizes are on the jerry can product pages, where you can easily check the height against your filling tap and warehouse shelves. We explain how the vegetable oil packing market works in Kyrgyzstan in a blog article.
