A food-grade 11.5 liter plastic bucket with a metal handle and a tight-fitting lid with a tamper-evident tear strip. This is the workhorse size for processors: it is used to pack honey for wholesale, sour cream and cottage cheese, fish, paint and ready-mixed putty. We mold it in Bishkek and ship across Kyrgyzstan and to Kazakhstan: Almaty, Astana, Shymkent and other cities.

The difference between nominal capacity and ISO volume is the headspace to the brim. A nominal 11.5 L is the working fill, while the bucket holds 12.575 L right to the top. This headspace lets the lid seat without squeezing product out and gives thick product room to expand.

Densities are typical values: our sales manager will recalculate the net weight for your recipe using your product's actual data. A pallet holds 816 buckets. A full bucket of paint weighs over 32 kilograms including packaging, so bear this in mind if it is carried by hand.

Trailers and containers are calculated on standard internal dimensions, with single-stacked pallets (no double stacking). Your sales manager will confirm the price and lead time for the order.
Applications
Typical uses for the 11.5 L bucket
11.5 liters is where processing-scale packing begins: the net weight is already a wholesale quantity, yet the bucket can still be lifted with one hand by its metal handle. It is bought by apiaries, dairy and fish processors, confectioners and paint manufacturers in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Honey for wholesale
The go-to container for honey extraction and storage: 16.3 kg net, 62 buckets per tonne. The tight-fitting lid keeps moisture out, and the metal handle takes the full weight.
Sour cream, cottage cheese, ayran
A format for dairies and processors: the product goes not to retail but to further production or food service. Polypropylene withstands washing and freezing.
Fish and preserves
Herring, preserves and marinades for processors around Issyk-Kul and in Kazakhstan's Caspian regions. The headspace to the brim keeps the brine from forcing the lid off.
Paint and putty
Water-based paint, primer, ready-mixed putty and mastic. The plastic grip on the handle does not cut into your palm when the bucket is carried full.
Components
Lid, handle, color, and printing
Lid
Included with the bucket. It seats around the entire rim and opens via a tamper-evident tear strip: once opened, it shows, and the strip cannot be resealed.
Handle
A steel bail handle with a plastic grip in the middle. On an 11.5 liter bucket this is no extra: under a full load a bare wire handle cuts into the palm. The medical version has a plastic handle.
Color
The white body is chosen for labels and full-surface printing; the clear one when buyers need to see the honey or sour cream right through the wall.
Printing
A label is applied to the finished bucket. IML works differently: the film is placed in the mold and fused into the wall during molding, so the artwork will not wash off. This size also offers a third option, offset printing on the body; its artwork template is in the 3D configurator.
Medical version
11.5 L medical bucket: the same body
For hospitals, laboratories and large clinics where waste builds up in volume.

The nearest sizes in the range are 8 and 15 liters. Besides volume, look at packaging weight per liter of product: on large runs, a difference of a few grams adds up to tonnes of plastic.
Of the three neighboring sizes, 11.5 liters uses the least packaging per liter of product: 26.7 g versus 31.2 for the 8-liter and 30.0 for the 15-liter bucket. Yet a pallet still holds 816 buckets, the same as the 15 liter.
