Large plastic buckets from 11.5 to 21 L
Four sizes for customers who pack in bulk, not in single portions: 11.5, 15, 18, and 21 L. They are used for paint and putty, for selling honey to bulk buyers, and for delivering pickles and mayonnaise to cafeterias and cafes. Every large bucket has a metal bail handle with a plastic grip. We mold them in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ) and ship across Kyrgyzstan and to Kazakhstan.

Dimensions and pallet loads for large buckets
With large packaging, every number turns into money. Empty weight drives resin use per liter of product, units per pallet set the number of trips, and height decides how many tiers fit on a rack. The last column shows how many buckets fit on one pallet and how many liters of nominal capacity that pallet carries.

The table splits into two pairs. The 11.5 L and 15 L buckets stack the same way, 816 per pallet, but the 15 L pallet carries almost a third more volume. The 18 L and 21 L buckets share a 332 mm opening and 600 units per pallet, and a pallet of the largest carries 12,600 liters, the most in the whole lineup. A curious detail: the 15 L bucket is taller than the 18 L, 292 mm vs. 286 mm.
How to choose
Four sizes: which one to choose
Neighboring sizes differ by 3-3.5 liters, but on a full bucket that means three to five extra kilograms in your hand and a noticeable difference in pallet count. Three things decide: who carries the bucket, how heavy the product is, and how far it travels. Here are a few guidelines.
1You carry the bucket by hand up stairs and around job sites: 11.5 L, about 12 kg of pickles or 16.3 kg of honey.11.5 L bucket

Where they're used
Four jobs for packaging from 11.5 L up
A large bucket rarely sits on a store shelf. It gets opened on a job site, in a production shop, in a cafeteria kitchen, or at a bulk buyer's receiving point. What matters there is not looks but full weight, a reliable handle, and how many buckets fit in the truck. Buyers order this packaging by the hundreds, not by the piece. Here is where it is used most.
Construction and finishing
Putty, plaster, water-based paint, and tile adhesive are sold in 15-21 L buckets. A 303-332 mm opening lets you work with a trowel or roller straight from the bucket. For details, see buckets for construction mixes.
Bulk honey
Bulk buyers and packers take honey in 15 L and 21 L buckets: the largest holds about 29.8 kg. Crystallized honey can be scooped out of the wide opening down to the bottom. The plastic grip on the bail lets you carry that load from the extractor to the truck without wrapping a rag around your palm.
Food service and cafeterias
Cafes, cafeterias, and ashkanas buy sauerkraut, pickled cucumbers, mayonnaise, and sauces in large buckets. A 15 L bucket holds about 15.8 kg of pickles in brine or 14.1 kg of mayonnaise. For a busy kitchen it is a convenient purchase unit: open the bucket, scoop what you need, and close it with the same lid.
Moving ingredients between sites
Manufacturers use large buckets to move fillings, pastes, and semi-finished products from the supplier to the filling line or from one shop to another. The flat lid seats in the double rim and keeps the product secure in transit, and the flat top of a closed bucket holds the next one stacked on it.
Logistics
Hundreds of buckets in one delivery
Large buckets also nest inside each other: a pallet holds 816 units of 11.5 L or 15 L, or 600 units of 18 L or 21 L. You can pick up your order from the factory warehouse in the Bishkek FEZ, Ak-Chiy village, which is convenient if you have your own truck. In Bishkek and Chuy Region, our own delivery trucks bring the pallets to you. Building supply yards and production shops in Osh, Jalal-Abad, Karakol, Naryn, and Talas receive packaging through a freight carrier. For paint, dry-mix, and food producers in Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, Karaganda), we ship by the pallet within the EAEU. Our sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when you place the order. Order buckets for the construction season or honey harvest in advance: large buckets take up a lot of space, and it is easier to build and ship your order on your schedule.

Frequently asked questions about large buckets
The 21 L bucket, which holds 21.9 L brim-full. That said, the 18 L has the most headroom above nominal capacity, almost 1.9 L, while the 21 L has about 0.9 L. Keep this in mind if your product can rise toward the lid when you close it.
They have different openings: 303 mm on the 15 L and 332 mm on the 18 L. The wider bucket gains capacity through its diameter, so at 286 mm tall it holds more than the 15 L bucket at 292 mm.
