Applications
Typical uses for the 5.6 L bucket
Five and a half liters is the size for a hospital ward: a surgical treatment room, a nurses' station in internal medicine, a dressing room in trauma care. It holds 1.8 liters more than the 3.8 liter bucket but stays low, and staff carry it out with one hand by the plastic handle.
Hospital wards
Surgery, internal medicine, trauma care, infectious diseases. The bucket stands in the treatment or dressing room and collects Class B waste (by Kyrgyz sanitary classification) between pickups.
Wipes at the nurses' station
Our catalog has a separate item in this size for disinfectant wipes. Hospitals order it for nurses' stations and treatment rooms, where wipes need to be at hand all day.
Needles and syringes
Our catalog lists used needles among the bucket's uses. The plastic handle weighs 5.2 grams, and the bucket has no other metal parts either.

Handle
Plastic, 5.2 grams, in both versions. An OPEN tear strip is molded on the body and shows when the bucket has been opened for the first time.

Food-grade version
A food-grade bucket with the same dimensions
The 5.6 liter body is also used for a food-grade bucket: white, for hospital kitchens, cafeterias, or shops. Dimensions and units per pallet are the same, and the catalog weight is 156 grams.
