The food-grade 21 liter plastic bucket is the largest size in our range. It has a metal handle with a plastic grip and a tight-fitting lid with a tamper-evident tear strip. Customers fill it with paint, varnish and ready-mixed putty, freshly extracted honey and pickles for processing. We mold it at our plant in Bishkek, and pallets go to buyers across Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, from Osh to Astana.

The bucket is almost as wide as it is tall: 332 mm across the top at a height of 333.5 mm. The headspace is 900 ml: the nominal 21 L is the working fill, while the bucket holds 21.9 L filled to the very top.

Densities are typical values. For an exact calculation, our sales manager will recalculate the volume for your recipe using your product data. Pallet figures assume 600 buckets. A full bucket of paint weighs over 30 kilograms, so bear that in mind for manual handling.

Trailers and containers are calculated on standard internal dimensions, with single-stacked pallets (no double stacking). Your sales manager will confirm the price and lead time for the order.
Applications
Typical uses for the 21 L bucket
The 21 liter size is chosen where the product goes not to retail but to work: to a building site, a workshop or a processing line. It is the largest size in the range, and almost all demand comes from paint manufacturers, apiaries during extraction and vegetable processors in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Paint and varnish
The go-to size for paint and coatings plants: 31.5 kg of paint per bucket, 32 buckets per tonne. The metal handle with a plastic grip is rated for the full weight.
Putty and mastic
Ready-mixed putty, concrete primer, waterproofing mastics. The wide 278 mm base keeps the bucket stable on a stepladder or scaffolding.
Honey extraction
A container for the honey extractor and for storage before packing: almost 30 kilograms per bucket. The tight-fitting lid keeps moisture out.
Pickles and processing
Cucumbers, wild garlic, cabbage and mixed pickles moved between workshops. The 900 ml headspace stops the brine from forcing the lid off.

Lid
Supplied with the bucket and seals around the entire rim. It opens via a tamper-evident tear strip and cannot be closed again.
Handle
A steel bail handle with a plastic grip. At 21 liters it is load-bearing: a full bucket of paint weighs over 32 kilograms including the packaging. The medical version has a plastic handle.
Color
A white wall is the backdrop for a label or an all-over design. Clear is chosen when shoppers need to see what is inside.
Printing
A label is applied after molding, while IML film is placed in the mold so the image becomes part of the wall. The second option stands up to both washing and rubbing against neighboring buckets on the pallet.
Medical version
21 L medical bucket: the same body

The neighboring sizes in the range are 15 and 18 liters. The 18 and 21 liter buckets share the same top and bottom diameters and differ only in height, which directly affects how much space your order takes up.
What matters most here is not the empty weight but the pallet. The 18 and 21 liter buckets have the same diameter and the same pallet quantity of 600. So when you move from 18 to 21 liters, your order takes up the same space but carries three extra liters of product in every bucket. The 15 liter bucket is narrower, so a pallet holds 816 of them.
