Medical waste buckets in Kyrgyzstan

The easiest place to buy medical waste buckets in Kyrgyzstan is where they're made: the HTI Group plant sits just outside Bishkek, in Ak-Chiy village, and ships straight from its own warehouse. The lineup has ten items from 1 to 21 liters: yellow for Class B waste and red for Class C (by Kyrgyz sanitary classification), each with a plastic handle and a tamper-evident lid. Hospitals and clinics in Bishkek and Chuy Region get their buckets on our own delivery trucks, while healthcare facilities in Osh, Karakol, Jalal-Abad, and other cities receive them through a freight carrier. Below you'll find the full size chart and a comparison of each medical bucket with a food-grade bucket of the same size.

Medical or food-grade bucket: what's the difference

This tool puts two buckets of the same size side by side, one from the medical line and one from the food-grade line, and shows color, handle, body dimensions, tare weight, and units per pallet. They share the same body, so the dimensions match. The key differences are summed up in three points below.

Volume

No metal anywhere

Food-grade buckets from 2.3 liters have a metal bail handle, and from 8 liters it also gets a plastic grip. The medical line uses a plastic handle in all nine sizes, from 1 to 21 liters.

Same dimensions

Neck diameter, body height, and units per pallet are the same as on a food-grade bucket of the same size: both lines share one body.

11.2 liters, medical only

The 11.2 liter bucket is made only in the medical line; the closest food-grade size is 11.5 liters. The color differs too: yellow and red instead of white and clear.

  • Choose a size to see both buckets and the rows where they differ.
  • Diameter, body height, and units per pallet are the same.
  • The 11.2 liter size has no match: the food-grade line doesn't include it.

A small bucket for a doctor's office or rural health post.

The version with a 75 mm opening in the lid works as a dispenser.

Pipette tips and plastic test tubes after analysis.

Syringes, IV sets, cotton: the size depends on patient numbers.

Bandages and dressings are bulky, so a wide-top bucket works best.

Red body; a small bucket is easier to close and carry out.

A general ward bucket with a lid and plastic handle.

The largest item: Ø332 mm, 600 pcs per pallet.

How it's made

Anatomy of a medical bucket

A medical waste bucket is a body, handle, and lid, all injection-molded from polypropylene. There are no metal parts. Sizes differ in their lids: some have a needle remover, others an opening for wipes, and every lid has a tamper-evident seal.

Tamper-evident seal

The closed lid opens with a tear-off strip. It works only once: if the bucket has been opened, the nurse sees it right away, with no extra seals or stickers.

Metal-free handle

In the food-grade line, buckets from 2.3 liters come with a metal bail handle. In the medical line, every size has a plastic handle, from the one-liter bucket to the 21 liter one.

Needle remover and wipe opening

The lid with needle remover is available for the 1 and 3 liter buckets, as well as the 3.8 and 5.6 liter ones. The last two also come with a lid that has a 75 mm opening for pulling out disinfecting wipes.

Color and labeling

Yellow body for Class B, red for Class C. The department name is applied with a label or with in-mold labeling (IML), where the image becomes part of the bucket wall during molding.

The medical line is stored where it's molded: at our factory warehouse in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ), Ak-Chiy village. A hospital or clinic has three options: send its own truck, use our own delivery trucks if it's in Bishkek or Chuy Region, or receive pallets from a freight carrier. That's how buckets reach healthcare facilities in Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Karakol, Naryn, and Talas. The map shows the regions and cities that have their own page on our site. Buckets ship to Kazakhstan by the pallet as deliveries within the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union).

Pickup from the Ak-Chiy warehouse

The clinic's buyer agrees on the order contents and loading time with our sales manager in advance. We ship in full pallets, so you'll need a truck. The warehouse is inside the Bishkek FEZ.

Our trucks: Bishkek and Chuy Region

Our own delivery trucks bring medical waste buckets to hospitals, family medicine centers, and private clinics in Bishkek, Tokmok, Kara-Balta, and villages across Chuy Region.

Freight carrier

To Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Karakol, Naryn, and Talas, pallets travel with a freight carrier. Our sales manager hands the load over to the carrier and sends the clinic the pickup details.

Calculator

From units to pallets to a loaded truck

A department rarely needs a full pallet at once, while we ship only in full pallets, so it's easier to plan from quarterly or annual usage. Enter a quantity for each size, and the calculator shows how many pallets that makes and how much of a truck they fill. A pallet holds 6,480 of the 1 liter buckets and 600 each of the 18 and 21 liter sizes.

Cost

What determines the cost of a medical bucket order

We don't have a fixed price list: the same item costs differently depending on order size and delivery method, so every quote is calculated per request. Tell us which sizes you need and how many, and our sales manager will give you the total for the order. It comes down to four factors.

1

How many pallets

The unit cost depends on order volume: the more pallets in your request, the lower it is. Our sales manager sets the tiers for each specific hospital or clinic order.

2

How much plastic

A 1 liter bucket contains 36 grams of polypropylene, and a 21 liter bucket, 620. Material is the main share of the production cost of each item.

3

Which lid and printing

A lid with a needle remover or a wipe opening, a label with the department name: each of these choices changes the estimate.

4

How you collect it

Pickup from Ak-Chiy, delivery on our own trucks within Bishkek and Chuy Region, and shipping by freight carrier to other cities are all calculated differently.

Your sales manager quotes the order price: call +996,222,600,292, message us on WhatsApp, or send a request on the website.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about medical buckets in Kyrgyzstan

Didn't find your answer? Our sales manager replies Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Bishkek time

From HTI Group: our production and warehouse are just outside Bishkek, in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (Ak-Chiy village). Clinics pick up yellow Class B and red Class C buckets themselves or order delivery on our own trucks. Call our sales manager at +996 222 600 292 (the same number works on WhatsApp), or send a request on the website.

Yes. The finished-goods warehouse is on the same site as our molding shop, in Ak-Chiy. Orders are placed in advance and shipped in full pallets, so you'll need to come by truck. Our sales manager confirms exactly what will be ready for loading, and how much, before you arrive.

The body is the same: buckets of the same size have identical diameter, height, and units per pallet. The rest differs: a medical bucket is yellow or red, always has a plastic handle, and for some sizes the lid has a needle remover or an opening for wipes. The 11.2 liter bucket exists only in the medical line. You can compare a pair side by side in the tool on this page.

They're containers for collecting medical waste: yellow for Class B, red for Class C. Small sizes with a needle remover collect needles, mid sizes take dressings, gloves, and syringes, and large ones collect waste for the whole ward. The 3.8 and 5.6 liter buckets with an opening in the lid work as disinfecting wipe dispensers.

Yes, the lid is included, and the closed bucket opens via a tamper-evident seal. Specify in your request which lid you need: standard, with a needle remover, or with a 75 mm opening for wipes. The size chart lists height without the lid, which adds 6 to 10 millimeters.

From 600 to 6,480 pcs, depending on size: 6,480 one-liter buckets, 3,300 of the 2.3 liter, 2,800 each of the 3 and 3.8 liter, 1,920 of the 5.6 liter, 816 each of the 11.2 and 11.5 liter, and 600 each of the 18 and 21 liter. This is the factory stacking pattern, used to plan both the clinic's storage space and the truck.

Yes. To cities outside Chuy Region, including Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Karakol, Naryn, and Talas, medical buckets ship by the pallet with a freight carrier. Hospitals in Bishkek, Tokmok, and Kara-Balta get deliveries on our own trucks. Our sales manager agrees on the delivery method along with the order estimate.

Yes, on request. We apply a label or use in-mold labeling (IML), where the image is fused into the wall during molding and becomes part of the body. This way the bucket can carry the clinic name, department, or waste class marking. Approve the artwork with our sales manager before ordering.

We ship in full pallets. A pallet of one-liter buckets is 6,480 pcs, a pallet of 21 liter buckets is 600 pcs. One shipment can combine different sizes and colors, plus food buckets for the kitchen or jerry cans for the laundry, each item on its own pallet.
