Height is shown without the lid. The two 5.6 liter items have the same dimensions and differ only in the lid: the second has a 75 mm opening for wipes. All sizes have a plastic handle.
A medical waste bucket body is molded from the same polypropylene as HTI food-grade buckets, with smooth, seamless walls. The medical version adds a color for the waste class, a plastic handle, a tamper-evident lid, and, on some sizes, a needle remover or a wipes opening.
The lid snaps onto the rim and opens by tearing off the tamper-evident strip. The strip can't be put back, so you can see at a glance whether the bucket was opened after sealing.
The 1, 3, 3.8, and 5.6 L buckets have a needle remover in the lid: insert the needle into the slot and detach it from the syringe without touching it. The needle drops into the bucket.
Yellow buckets are for Class B waste, red ones for Class C. We can add a department or room name with a label or in-mold labeling (IML): the label is fused into the wall during molding.
All sizes from 1 to 21 liters have a plastic handle, with no metal parts. For disinfectant wipes, the 3.8 and 5.6 liter buckets come with a 75 mm wipes dispenser lid.
