Wholesale plastic jerry cans
Wholesale jerry can buyers are businesses that bottle liquids for sale: drinking water, vegetable oil, windshield washer fluid, detergents, and syrups for cafes. HTI molds two sizes, 5 and 10 L, from white polypropylene, with a screw cap, a handle molded in one piece with the body, and a flat panel for your label. We calculate orders in pallets and ship them from our warehouse in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ) across Kyrgyzstan and to Kazakhstan.

5 L or 10 L: your customers decide
Choose the jerry can size based not on packaging cost but on who will use the product and how. Here are a few pointers for wholesale buying. Often the right answer is to stock both sizes: one for retail, the other for regular customers.
1Retail and household use: 5 L. At 240 mm tall, the jerry can fits easily in a cupboard or car trunk.5 L jerry can
2Cafes, car washes, and cleaning services: 10 L. You change containers less often and have fewer empty jerry cans left after each shift.10 L jerry can
3Two sizes in your range means two different labels: the jerry cans differ in both height and width (163 and 201 mm).

Two jerry cans by the numbers for wholesalers
Jerry cans don't nest: empty, they take up exactly as much space in the warehouse and the truck as they will once filled. That's why wholesale buyers plan in pallets, not units. The table shows dimensions, weight, and pallet quantities for both sizes, and the bottom rows show how much packaging you need to fill 10,000 liters of product.

A pallet of ten-liter jerry cans carries 100 liters more capacity and weighs almost the same as a pallet of five-liter ones. If your product goes to retail, where shoppers prefer 5 liters, the logistics difference is small: 12 pallets instead of 10 for 10,000 liters. For wholesale and foodservice customers, 10 liters is cheaper to ship.
Design
What your filling line gets along with the jerry can
Both sizes share the same design and differ only in dimensions. As a wholesale buyer, you care how a jerry can performs on the filling line, in the truck, and on the store shelf. Here are the four details that make the difference. They are identical on the 5 L and 10 L cans, so you can add the second size to your range without reworking your packaging.
Screw cap
The cap screws onto the threaded neck instead of pressing in, so your customers can open and reclose the jerry can many times as they use up the product. They pour out what they need and screw the cap back on tight.
Handle molded from the same plastic
The handle is molded in one piece with the body, with no seams or metal parts. It's what you hold when pouring into a tank, bottle, or bucket; a ten-liter jerry can full of water weighs about 10.4 kg, including the can itself.
Reinforcing ribs at the base
Ribs reinforce the lower part of the body. They add rigidity where the jerry can bears the weight of its contents and meets the warehouse floor, truck bed, or shelf. A full can holds its shape better when it's picked up and set down many times a day.
Flat label panel
The front wall of the jerry can is flat, so a label sits flush across its whole surface without creasing at the edges. There's room for your brand, ingredients, volume, and barcode: everything a store checks when it receives goods.
Logistics
Shipping jerry cans by the pallet
Since jerry cans don't nest, each pallet of packaging takes up a full space in the truck, so factor it into your shipping plan. Pickup is available from the factory warehouse in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ), Ak-Chiy village. In Bishkek and across Chuy Region, our own delivery trucks bring the jerry cans to you; to Osh, Jalal-Abad, Karakol, Naryn, Talas, and other cities in Kyrgyzstan, they go by freight carrier. For bottlers in Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, Karaganda, and other cities), we ship by the pallet within the EAEU. Your sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when you place the order. If there's room left in the truck, fill it with buckets: they nest inside each other, so many times more of them fit on a pallet than jerry cans.
