An oil mill makes more than oil. The press leaves oilcake, which farmers and anglers are happy to buy. Sediment from settling has to go somewhere. Many mills also run a stone mill next to the press for urbech and sesame paste. HTI Group covers all of these areas in one shipment: 5 and 10 L jerry cans for oil, plus buckets from 560 ml to 21 L for pastes, samples, and oilcake. Our factory is in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ), and we ship across Kyrgyzstan and to Kazakhstan.
Jerry cans don't nest inside each other, but buckets ship in stacks. So a pallet of jerry cans and a pallet of buckets hold very different unit counts. Build a kit and compare the numbers.
Pallet and unit counts follow factory standards; truck loading is an estimate. The order calculator shows the exact layout.
The areas follow the path of the raw material: sampling, oil filling, the buyer's kitchen, the stone mill, and by-products. Each row lists a size linked to its dimensions and a page that covers that product in detail.
| Area | What you pack | Empty weight | Volume | Learn more |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Batch control | seed, oil, and oilcake samples | low bucket with lugs | 560 ml | small buckets |
| Filling for stores and bazaars | sunflower, cottonseed, and flaxseed oil | jerry can with a flat label panel | 5 L | oil jerry cans |
| Supply to cafes and canteens | cooking oil | jerry can with a molded-in handle | 10 L | HoReCa |
| Stone mill, retail | urbech, sesame paste, and peanut butter | bucket with plastic handle and OPEN seal | 1 L | nut butters |
| Stone mill, bulk for pastry shops | tahini and pastes for kitchens | bucket with metal bail handle | 3.8 L | nut butters |
| Retail oilcake | oilcake for anglers and poultry farms | bucket with metal bail handle and lid | 5.6 L | feed and fishing bait |
| Settling room | sediment, oily rags | bucket with bail handle and plastic grip | 21 L | large buckets |
Jerry cans carry your main product, buckets handle everything else, and it's easy to order both in one request. Keep the packing difference in mind: a pallet holds 1,920 of the 5.6 L buckets but only 100 of the 10 L jerry cans, because empty jerry cans don't nest.
A small oil mill often earns from everything the seed yields, not just the oil. Each product has its own buyer and its own packaging, but it's easier to buy it all from one factory and get it in one truck.

A jerry can with a screw cap and a built-in handle needs no crates, unlike glass bottles. Stick a label with the oil grade and pressing date on the flat front panel. HTI doesn't make bottles: fill small retail sizes in your own bottles, and keep jerry cans for families and kitchens.
Urbech, sesame paste, and peanut butter are thick, so buyers scoop them with a spoon, and the oil rises to the top over time. The bucket opens across its full diameter, so you can stir the paste right in the container. The OPEN seal under the rim shows buyers that nobody opened the bucket before them.
Farmers buy sunflower oilcake as poultry feed, and anglers use it as bait. Not everyone needs a full sack. A 5.6 or 11.5 L bucket with a lid sells at the market as a ready retail pack. The lid keeps the oilcake dry and clean while the bucket sits on the counter.
Keep seed, oil, and oilcake samples from each batch in small 560 ml buckets with lids, labeled with a marker. Collect settling sediment and oily rags in a 21 L bucket. A full bucket is heavy, so workers carry it out by the plastic grip on the metal bail handle.
If your oil mill is just starting out, you don't need everything at once. Start with packaging for oil, and add items for pastes and oilcake as you find buyers.
The pressing season follows the sunflower and cotton harvest, so your packaging should arrive before the press runs at full capacity. You can pick up pallets at our factory in the Bishkek FEZ, Ak-Chiy village: jerry cans ship on separate pallets, buckets in stacks. Our own delivery trucks serve oil mills in Bishkek and the Chuy Region. We send orders to Jalal-Abad Region, Osh Region, Talas, and Issyk-Kul by freight carrier. Oil producers in Kazakhstan, from Shymkent and Turkestan to Almaty, Pavlodar, and Kostanay, receive packaging by the pallet within the EAEU. Your sales manager confirms delivery time and cost for each shipment when processing your order.

Our product guides show how many jerry cans a metric ton of oil takes and which size suits urbech. Next to them are the industries that buy oil and oilcake.

Dairy plantssour cream, cottage cheese, suzma, and kaymak for stores, bazaars, and cafescontainers 250-400 ml, buckets 560 ml-11.5 LUsually both: 5 L for retail and 10 L for cafes and wholesalers. A pallet holds 180 of the 5 L cans or 100 of the 10 L cans, so one pallet of cans packs 900 or 1,000 liters of oil.
Use 560 ml and 1 L buckets for retail, and 3.8 L buckets for confectioners and cafes. The bucket opens across its full width, so it's easy to stir the separated oil back into the paste. The OPEN seal under the rim shows the bucket wasn't opened after filling.
Yes, and for retail it beats a sack: the buyer takes home 5.6 or 11.5 L with a lid and metal bail handle. For large farms, bulk or bagged oilcake still pays off better, so keep buckets for the market and fishing tackle stores.

Jerry cans get a label on the flat front panel. Paste buckets can carry a label or in-mold labeling (IML): the label is fused into the wall during molding and becomes part of the body. Learn more about the technology on the IML page.
Yes, by the pallet within the EAEU through a freight carrier. We combine jerry cans and buckets in one order, and your sales manager confirms delivery cost and time when you place it.
Not for oilcake or sediment: a white body works fine there. Clear buckets help with pastes, because buyers can see the color of flax, sesame, or sunflower urbech and choose for themselves. We make clear buckets in every size from 560 ml to 21 L.
Find jerry can and bucket dimensions, empty weights, and units per pallet in the catalog. If your oil goes to kitchens, see our packaging for cafes and restaurants page. Our blog article covers the vegetable oil market in Kyrgyzstan.
Tell us which seeds you process, how much oil you make per month, and what you do with the oilcake. Your sales manager will put together a kit of jerry cans and buckets and calculate how many pallets the shipment takes.
