Premix is added to feed in small, precise doses, so instead of a half-tonne sack, a farm needs a handy pack it can open and close every day. HTI Group molds buckets from 1 to 21 L for premixes, mineral supplements, calf milk replacer, pet food, and fishing bait. The lid keeps out moisture and debris, and a bucket with a bail handle is easy to carry from the storeroom to the feeder.
Choosing packaging for feed comes down to two questions: who opens the bucket, and whether the buyer sees the product before buying. Farm packs are white buckets with large lettering, while retail often goes clear, letting the product itself serve as the display. The exact net weight for each size is set by a trial fill, since premix, shell grit, and pellets all have different bulk densities.
Feed and supplements are bought by very different people: a feed mill, a farmer with a dozen cows, a cat owner, an angler on Lake Issyk-Kul. Each needs a different size, and it's easy to get wrong: a big bucket of premix would take a smallholder months to use up, while a small one on a farm runs out in a day. The table shows where to start.

Small sizes up to 3.8 L work at the pet store counter and in the fishing aisle, where customers pick up the product. Farm packs start at 11.5 L: a bucket with a bail handle and plastic grip stays in the feed room and gets opened every shift. A pallet holds 600 to 6,480 empty buckets depending on size, so a season's supply of packaging fits easily in a small warehouse.

Poultry vitamins sell by the liter, fishing bait in 3.8 L buckets, and premix for feed mills in 21 L buckets. Tap a feed type: the tool shows the bucket, the buyer, and the units per pallet. Kilograms depend on the formula, so the tool works in liters.
The rows come from this page's table: each one has its own packaging.
We ship in full pallets, so the number of pallets is rounded up.

333.5 mmFeed gets opened every day, and often in less-than-ideal conditions: in a cowshed, a poultry house, or on the bank of a reservoir. Once a sack is torn open, it never really closes again, while a bucket closes as many times as you need. Here are four scenarios where that makes a real difference.

Premix goes into feed at a precise dose, scooped out with a measuring cup straight from an 11.5 L bucket. The 295 mm opening fits a hand with a scoop, and the lid goes back on after each use. No open sack sits in the feed room collecting meal dust.
Milk replacer is mixed several times a day, and the powder has to stay dry and clean. A lidded bucket sits in the calf barn next to the water, and unlike a paper sack, it's no problem if someone bumps into it. The mixing ratio can go right on the side of the bucket, so anyone feeding the calves can see it.
Anglers on Issyk-Kul, the Toktogul Reservoir, and Kapshagay buy bait and pellets in the 3.8 L bucket. The lid keeps spray off the bait in the boat, and on shore the same bucket is used to mix the bait with water. The clear body shows the particle size and color, so in a tackle shop the product sells itself.
Dry cat and dog food is often sold by weight, and a 15 L bucket with a lid protects it from dust and store odors. For fish and rodent food, the clear 2.3 L bucket works well. The OPEN tamper-evident tear strip shows that a pre-packed bucket reached the customer untouched.
Cat and dog food and cat litter each have their own guide, and fertilizers for the same farm are right next to them.

Fertilizer bucketsgranular and liquid fertilizers, plant feeds1-21 L, plus 5 and 10 L jerry cansFeed mills and premix producers find it easiest to receive packaging by the pallet, timed to their production schedule. Empty buckets nest in stacks, so your warehouse can hold a reserve without extra racking. Pickup is from our factory warehouse in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ), Ak-Chiy village. Our own delivery trucks serve Bishkek and Chuy Region, and we ship buckets via freight carrier to farms and stores in Osh, Jalal-Abad, Karakol, Naryn, and Talas. For feed producers in Kazakhstan, from Shymkent and Taraz to Almaty, Astana, and Kostanay, we ship by the pallet within the EAEU. Your sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when you place the order.

For dairy farms, 11.5 L; for feed mills and large farms, 21 L. How many kilograms fit depends on the bulk density of your specific premix, so check it with a trial fill and put the net weight on the bucket.
Yes, that's exactly why farmers choose a bucket over a sack: the lid closes after every scoop, and the plastic body won't tear on the corner of a feed bin the way burlap does. Keep the bucket in a dry spot, not on the ground.
Yes. The clear body shows the color and particle size of the bait or pellets, so anglers can see exactly what they're buying. For fishing, the 2.3 and 3.8 L sizes work best: the bucket fits in a boat, and on shore it doubles as a bait-mixing pail.

Yes, with a label or in-mold labeling (IML). For feed, the side of the bucket usually shows the ingredients, target species, and dosage. With IML, the image is fused into the plastic during molding and won't rub off when the bucket is wiped down in a damp farm building.
Yes, we ship to Kazakhstan by the pallet within the EAEU. Your sales manager confirms delivery time and cost when you place the order. One pallet holds 600 of the 21 L buckets or 816 of the 11.5 L buckets.
Clear 2.3 L buckets for fish food, rodent food, and treats, and 15 L buckets for dry food sold by weight. The large lidded bucket sits by the counter, and staff scoop and weigh out food without opening a new sack every time.
Our catalog lists every size from 560 ml to 21 L, with dimensions and handle options. For grains, cereals, and spices, see our buckets for spices and dry goods page, and for fertilizers, our fertilizer packaging page.
Tell us what you pack, for which animals, and in what pack weights you sell it. Our sales manager will pick the right sizes and version and calculate your order and pallets. If your feed currently goes into sacks, we'll work out together which products your customers would rather buy in a bucket.
