Shakhtinsk is a coal miners' town, and buckets come in handy at every turn. In mine workshops they hold grease; in change houses, hand cleaning paste and detergents; in canteens, pickles; in apartments, putty for renovation; and at dachas, the harvest and preserves. HTI's range of food-grade buckets from 560 ml to 21 L covers all of these jobs, and it reaches Shakhtinsk by the pallet.
Shakhtinsk is in Karaganda Region: buckets across the region

Each of HTI's fourteen sizes is labeled with what it's used for in a coal-mining town: mine services, canteens, apartment renovation, and dacha chores. Click a card to open that size's page with dimensions, empty weight, and photos.
Corner stores, the bazaar, garage co-ops.
Change houses, canteens, workshops.
Gardens, apartment renovation, cleaning, and storage.
Containers for corner stores, dacha preserves, and miners' lunches.
Jerry cans for dacha equipment oil and cleaning products.
Yellow and red buckets for the hospital, outpatient clinic, and mine first-aid station.

Cottage cheese and kaymak for corner stores in Shakhtinsk's neighborhoods.

Grease for dacha equipment and garages: hardware stores sell this small bucket with a handle.

Homemade adjika from dacha garden beds for the bazaar: buckets with no handle line up in rows on the counter.

Honey from the bazaar as a gift for family: the molded-in handle makes the bucket easy to carry.

Litol grease for the town's garage co-ops: a one-liter bucket with a plastic handle.

Lecho (pepper and tomato relish) and zucchini spread from dacha plots, sold to neighbors and at the bazaar.

Hand cleaning paste by the sinks in mine change houses.

Sour cream and cottage cheese for canteens that serve miners' shifts breakfast and lunch.

Lubricating grease for repairing mining equipment in mine workshops.

Sauerkraut for the town's cafes and canteens: about 8.4 kg with brine.

Potatoes and carrots from the garden: the metal bail handle with a plastic grip takes the weight of a full bucket.

Cleaning products for washing showers and locker rooms in mine change houses.

Putty and tile adhesive for apartment renovation: you carry the bucket up the stairwell by the bail.

Mortar and mixing water for building garages, saunas, and dacha houses.

A portion of kaymak for a corner store shopper: a 250 ml hexagonal container.

Homemade adjika from the dacha as a sample: 385 ml round containers on the bazaar counter.

Salad in a canteen that feeds a shift: 400 ml per tray.

Zucchini spread from a dacha plot: a 550 ml round container with a lid.

A miner's packed lunch: a cutlet with a side in a flat tray, lid closed.

Oil for a dacha tiller and chainsaw: a 5 L jerry can with a screw cap.

Cleaning product for showers and locker rooms: ten liters, threaded cap.

Underground medical post and mine first-aid station: injections, needles into the valve, the one-liter bucket on the paramedic's desk.

Pre-shift medical exam room: cotton balls after tests go into a yellow 2.3 L bucket.

Fall vaccinations for miners: syringes go through the valve of a three-liter bucket.

Mine change house: hand wipes from a dispenser bucket by the sinks.

Trauma doctor treating bruises and cuts after a shift: a red Class C bucket (by Kyrgyz sanitary classification).

Shakhtinsk city hospital: the surgery ward's daily waste, 11.2 L.

Occupational disease ward: miners in for checkups, daily waste in yellow 11.5 L buckets.

Coal-town outpatient clinic: occupational checkups, combined waste in an 18 L bucket.

Storage until the special pickup: the largest bucket, 21 L, with a lid.
The buckets are tapered, so empties nest inside each other: one pallet holds 7,200 of the 560 ml buckets or 600 of the 21 L. Every bucket closes with a flat lid that has an OPEN tear strip under the rim.
In a coal-mining town, buckets are often opened with gloved hands, a spatula, or a ladle, so the table lists the opening diameter. A wide opening lets you scrape thick material out right to the bottom, while a narrow one suits portion packing. On the right is a link to the product breakdown.
| Task | Where in Shakhtinsk | Volume | Opening, mm | Learn more |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grease | mine workshops | 5.6 L | 224 | greases |
| Hand cleaning paste | change houses | 3 L | 200 | household cleaning products |
| Cleaning products | cleaning showers and locker rooms | 15 L | 303 | cleaning |
| Sauerkraut, pickles | canteens and cafes | 8 L | 276 | pickles |
| Lecho, adjika, zucchini spread | dacha owners and the bazaar | 2.3 L | 175 | adjika |
| Putty, adhesive | apartment renovation | 18 L | 332 | putty and primer |
| Sour cream, cottage cheese | corner stores | 560 ml | 118 | dairy products |
For thick grease and putty, choose buckets with an opening of 224 mm or more: a spatula reaches the walls, and nothing is left at the bottom. For counter portions, 118 mm is enough. Every item in the table can go in a single shipment.
Life in Shakhtinsk is split between the shift underground and home on the surface. That makes for four groups of bucket buyers, each with its own deciding factor. Mine services care about the lid, canteens about product weight per bucket, dacha owners about a comfortable handle, and finishing crews about a wide opening for a spatula and mixer.

Workshops keep grease in 5.6 L buckets, while change houses keep hand cleaning paste in 3 L and detergents in 15 L. The lid seats into a double rim and keeps coal dust out while the bucket sits on site.
Kitchens that feed shift crews get sauerkraut and pickles in 8 L and sour cream and cottage cheese in 3.8 L. The bucket opens to its full diameter, so you ladle out the product and close it with the same lid.
A vegetable garden outside town is a fixture of life in Shakhtinsk. The harvest is carried in 11.5 L buckets with a bail handle and plastic grip, while lecho, adjika, and zucchini spread are sold to neighbors and at the bazaar in 2.3 L and 850 ml.
Finishing crews choose 18 L for putty and adhesive and 21 L for mixing water. After the job, empty buckets are washed out and reused: polypropylene holds up to repeated washing.
Choose a size and quantity, and the calculator will show the number of pallets. Take a mine change house: a year's supply of hand cleaning paste takes 1,000 of the 3 L buckets, which is one pallet. A finishing crew needs 700 of the 18 L buckets for the season, which is already two pallets.
Buckets are sold direct from the factory in orders of one pallet or more. The process is the same for a mine's purchasing manager, a cafe owner, and a finishing crew foreman, and it usually takes just one call and one email with a list of items.
Tell us what you'll store or pack, how many buckets you need, and where they're going. If you need a logo, mention it up front.
Your sales manager will choose the size and handle, convert the order into pallets, and send a price that includes freight to Shakhtinsk.
The order is assembled at the factory warehouse in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone. For an IML run, the artwork is approved first.
A freight carrier takes the pallets to Kazakhstan as a shipment within the EAEU, and the paperwork travels with the cargo.

A Shakhtinsk order starts at the HTI plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, Ak-Chiy village: HTI has no pickup point or warehouse in town. Finished pallets travel with a freight carrier and are documented as a delivery within the EAEU. Your sales manager confirms the arrival date and freight cost when processing your order.
If you have your own truck, you can pick up pallets right at the plant. Smaller buyers in Shakhtinsk, Saran, and Karaganda often find it convenient to combine orders on one truck.
It's best to order before the season: dacha owners need buckets by harvest time and finishing crews by spring, while mine services and canteens buy on an annual plan.
When the shipment arrives, it's easy to check the pallets against your order by size: each model sits on its own pallet, nested buckets are counted by the stack, and an intact OPEN tear strip on the lid shows that no one has opened the bucket.

The same HTI bucket comes in several versions. In Shakhtinsk, the choice usually depends on where the bucket will be used: in a workshop, in a garden, in a stairwell during renovation, or on a bazaar counter.
For gardens, building sites, and mine workshops: buckets from 8 L up have a metal bail handle with a plastic grip that won't cut into your palm.
For grease and paste, choose a white bucket: stains show right away, and marker labels can be read from across the workshop.
For the bazaar and stores: lecho, adjika, and honey show through the wall, so shoppers can choose without opening the lid.
A label works for a trial order, and for a regular product there's IML, where the design is fused into the wall.

From the manufacturer: HTI ships buckets to Shakhtinsk itself, with no middlemen, starting from one pallet. Call a sales manager at +996 222 600 292, or request a callback on the website.
The price is calculated per order based on size, quantity, handle, color, and printing. Your sales manager will include freight to Shakhtinsk in the same quote.
A freight carrier delivers the pallets from the plant to Shakhtinsk, and the shipment is documented within the EAEU. When you place the order, your sales manager will give you the truck's arrival date and the freight cost.
No. HTI keeps no stock outside the plant, so Shakhtinsk orders are assembled and shipped from the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, Ak-Chiy village.
A 3 L bucket is handy by a change house sink, and 11.5 or 15 L for a locker room. More on our buckets for household cleaning products page.
Yes, the buckets are molded from food-grade polypropylene. The 8 L holds about 8.4 kg of sauerkraut with brine, the 18 L about 19 kg. See the breakdown on our buckets for pickles page.
Buckets ship in full pallets, but pallets of different sizes can share one truck. If you only need a few, it's convenient to combine your order with neighbors in town or stock up for a whole year: empty buckets nest inside each other and weigh very little.
Yes, with a label or IML. For cafes and dacha preserves sold at the bazaar, it makes the product easy to recognize.
Dimensions, empty weights, and photos of every bucket are in the catalog. Terms for the whole region are on the Karaganda Region page, and nearby towns have their own pages: buckets in Saran and packaging for Karaganda.
