Zhetysu Region, centered on Taldykorgan, stretches from the glaciers of the Dzungarian Alatau to the rice fields of Karatal District and the Chinese border near Zharkent. Beekeepers harvest honey in the mountains, apples grow in the foothills, rice and vegetables are planted on the plains, and cross-border trade keeps the wholesale depots busy. For all of these businesses, the HTI plant molds food-grade buckets in 14 sizes and ships them to the region by the pallet.

One region takes in high-mountain apiaries, foothill orchards, rice paddies, and border markets. That's why each size below shows where in Zhetysu it does its job. Each card links to the bucket's page, with the opening, height, empty weight, and a photo.

The buckets are tapered and nest inside each other in stacks, so even a large order takes up little space in the truck. Each lid seats in a double rim and is sealed with an OPEN tear strip.
Zhetysu is a big region, and the product changes with altitude. The table lists the main districts and towns, their key product, and the size to start your order with.

Mountain farms mostly buy small buckets for honey, lowland farms buy medium ones for vegetables, and construction and feed call for the largest. If a farm spans two levels at once, say, an apiary plus a vegetable garden, it's easiest to combine its order into one truckload of mixed pallets. Neighbors in a village do the same when each has a different product but they share a delivery address.
It's easier to divide the region by altitude than by district: pastures and apiaries up top, orchards below them, rice and vegetable fields lower still, and border trade in the east. Each belt has its own bucket buyers, and the same size serves different purposes in the mountains and on the plains: up high, a liter means honey; down below, sour cream or salad.

Hives are moved up to the mountain meadows, and the honey is sold in Taldykorgan, in Almaty, and to tourists in Tekeli. Retail honey goes into 1 L and 850 ml buckets, resellers get 5.6 L, and freshly extracted honey goes into 21 L buckets.
Apples and vegetables are grown around Taldykorgan and in foothill villages. Jam and fruit butter are packed in clear 2.3 L buckets, pickles in 3 and 5.6 L, and for picking the harvest, growers use 11.5 L buckets with a plastic grip.
Karatal District, centered on Ushtobe, is the region's rice country. Here buckets are needed for preserved vegetables, poultry grain, and fertilizers kept under a tight lid.
Zharkent sits on the border with China, and trade and logistics run through it. Wholesalers and packers need buckets with a logo and an OPEN tear strip so goods reach stores unopened.
The calculator works out pallets from the number of buckets. Here's an example from a mountain apiary near Tekeli: 5,000 one-liter buckets for retail honey take up one pallet, since a pallet holds 6,480. A vegetable plant in Ushtobe that needs 4,000 buckets of 3 L for the season gets two pallets.
We sell direct from the factory, with one pallet as the minimum order. The process is the same for a mountain apiary and a plant in Taldykorgan.
Describe your product, the sizes you need, and your location: Taldykorgan, Zharkent, Tekeli, Ushtobe, or a village. If you want your own brand on the bucket, mention it in your very first call.
Your sales manager will match the sizes to your product, convert units into pallets, and quote the order price together with delivery to your town or village.
Pallets are packed at our plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone. Buckets with in-mold labeling (IML) go into production once you approve the artwork: the label is placed in the mold and fused with the wall during molding.
A freight carrier delivers the pallets to Zhetysu as a shipment within the EAEU. Your sales manager will let you know in advance when the truck leaves and when to expect it.

There are no intermediate warehouses for Zhetysu: pallets are loaded at the HTI plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, Ak-Chiy village, and a freight carrier takes them to the buyer's town or village. Delivery from Kyrgyzstan is documented within the EAEU. Your sales manager tells you the cost and transit time of the run when calculating your order.
Apiaries should order before extraction, orchards before apple picking, and rice growers and vegetable plants before the harvest. Mountain villages around Tekeli are better off covering the whole season with one delivery, so they aren't waiting for a truck in the middle of extraction.
When several farms in one district order the same sizes, a joint order fills a whole truck, and the packaging is divided up on site.
Linked towns have their own page, with buckets matched to local farms.
Zhetysu products sell at local markets, travel to Almaty, and ship out wholesale. Each route calls for its own version.
Runny mountain honey, jam, and pickled vegetables are visible to shoppers without removing the lid.
For wholesale orders and Almaty retail chains: the white wall is ideal for a label with ingredients and a barcode.
A long trip to the customer raises doubts. An intact tear strip under the rim puts them to rest: the bucket hasn't been opened.
An apiary or plant in Zhetysu can have buckets made with its own logo fused into the wall during molding. This print won't wash off.

Yes, in two ways. A label is applied to the finished bucket, while with IML the logo becomes part of the wall. A label is usually enough for an apiary with a short season, while IML pays off for a plant that packs year-round.
