Zhitikara is a mining town in the steppe of Kostanay Region, where asbestos is mined. The open pit has a grease depot, staff facilities, and canteens; the town has bakeries, cafes, and shops; and the outskirts have farmsteads with poultry and vegetable gardens. HTI molds buckets for all of them, from 560 ml to 21 L: for grease and cleaning pastes, dough and mayonnaise, poultry grain, and roofing mastic. Buckets travel to Zhitikara by the pallet from our plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone.
Zhitikara, Kostanay Region: buckets across the region

Under each size is the job it does in Zhitikara: at the open pit, in a town kitchen, at a bakery, or on a farmstead. Each card links to the bucket's page with full dimensions, empty weight, and photos. The bottom of each card shows the handle type and the number of buckets per pallet.

Ghee and sour cream from farmsteads for the market, with a plastic handle that's handy for shoppers.

Raisins and dried apricots for pastry shops and bakeries: the handleless bucket sits on a shelf by the worktable.

Beet salad with garlic for neighborhood delis, with the handle molded in one piece with the body.

Grease handed out to pit crews: a one-liter bucket with a handle goes out with each shift.

Korean-style cabbage and Korean carrot salad for town delis: the 175 mm opening fits serving tongs.

Yeast dough for belyashi meat pies and pirozhki at bakeries: the lid covers it while it rises.

Fruit butter and jam for pastry shops: about 5 kg of filling in a bucket with a 200 mm opening.

Mayonnaise for town canteens and cafes: about 5.3 kg in a bucket with a metal bail handle.

Ground meat and manty filling in deli kitchens: a hand fits easily through the 276 mm opening.

Cleaning pastes for the pit's staff facilities: the bucket stays in the locker room all week.

Grain and compound feed for chickens and geese on steppe farmsteads: the lid keeps out dust.

Waterproofing mastic for the roofs and foundations of private homes on the outskirts.

Bulk grease for the pit's fuel and lubricants depot: a spatula fits through the 332 mm opening.

A portion of kaymak for tea: at 50 mm tall, the hexagonal container fits on a fridge shelf.

Beet salad from the deli: 385 ml round containers with a 118 mm top.

Korean carrot salad for one dinner: a hexagonal container 77 mm tall.

Soup to go from the pit canteen: a 118 × 80 mm round container.

Belyashi and pirozhki to go from the bakery: a 122 × 173 mm tray with a lid.

Cleaning product for staff facilities: a jerry can 240 mm tall.

Water for farmstead poultry and the vegetable garden: ten liters in a jerry can 296 mm tall.

Pit first-aid station: injections for crews, a one-liter bucket 121 mm tall with a needle remover.

Occupational checkup room: cotton balls after blood draws, a yellow body 132 mm tall.

Vaccinations for plant workers: syringes into the needle remover, bucket height 137 mm.

Staff locker rooms: wipes from a dispenser, a 176 mm body.

Zhitikara urgent care clinic: bruises from the pit, with dressings going into a red body 193 mm tall.

Zhitikara city hospital: a day's waste, a body 217 mm tall.

Pulmonology and internal medicine: a day's waste, 234 mm, plastic handle.

Outpatient clinic: a week of occupational checkups, a body 286 mm tall.

Until the run to Kostanay, waste is stored in the tallest body: 333.5 mm, 21 L.
The buckets are tapered and nest inside each other, so a storeroom supply takes up less space than the unit count suggests. Every size has a flat lid with a double rim and an OPEN tear strip.
In a pit storeroom, a cafe fridge, or a farmstead shed, capacity isn't the only thing that matters: the bucket's height decides whether it fits on the shelf. That's why the table lists each bucket's height in millimeters next to its job.
| Buyer | What they store | Volume | Height, mm | Learn more |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pit crews | grease for a shift | 1 L | 121 | greases |
| fuel and lubricants depot | bulk grease | 21 L | 333.5 | large buckets |
| change houses | cleaning pastes | 11.5 L | 234 | household cleaning products |
| canteens and cafes | mayonnaise | 5.6 L | 193 | mayonnaise and sauces |
| bakeries | dough, fruit butter | 3.8 L | 176 | dough buckets |
| farmsteads | grain, compound feed | 15 L | 292 | feed |
| private homes | mastic | 18 L | 286 | mastic and waterproofing |
| corner stores | kaymak | 560 ml | 80 | dairy products |
Worth noting: the 18 L bucket is shorter than the 15 L, 286 mm versus 292 mm, because it has a wider 332 mm opening. The 21 L, with the same opening, grows to 333.5 mm. Keep this in mind if the buckets share one rack.
In Zhitikara, a bucket rarely stays in one place: it's issued for a shift, washed, put in the fridge, and carried around the yard. Here are four places in town where HTI packaging handles a specific job, and what people there look for when choosing it: lid, opening, handle, and body color.

Bulk grease is kept at the depot in 21 L buckets and handed out to crews in one-liter buckets with a handle. The lid snaps into the double rim and keeps pit dust out of the grease between shifts.
Cleaning pastes for locker rooms and showers are handy in the 11.5 L: with a 295 mm opening, you can take paste out by hand or with a spatula. The white body is easy to label, so the paste bucket won't get mixed up with canteen packaging.
Dough for belyashi and pirozhki fits in 3 and 3.8 L buckets, and fruit butter and jam are kept in the same sizes. Delis portion Korean carrot salad into 2.3 L buckets and manty filling into 8 L.
On the outskirts, people keep chickens and geese and store grain and compound feed in 15 L buckets with lids. The bail handle with a plastic grip comes in handy when carrying the bucket from the shed to the poultry house.
Choose a bucket and enter a quantity, and the calculator converts it into pallets. Take a pit fuel and lubricants depot: it needs 800 of the 21 L buckets a year, which is two pallets, since one holds 600. A bakery that needs 2,000 of the 3.8 L buckets fits on a single pallet.
Buckets are sold direct from the factory, in orders of one pallet or more. The steps are the same for a pit storeroom and a bakery; only the order size changes.
Describe what you'll store, which sizes you need, how many, and where to deliver. If you want a logo on the wall, mention it in your very first conversation.
Your sales manager will choose the handle and body color, calculate the pallets, and quote the order price including freight to Zhitikara.
Your order is assembled at the plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone: the buckets are nested in stacks and secured on pallets. For IML orders, the artwork is approved first.
The pallets leave with a freight carrier, the shipment is documented within the EAEU, and the paperwork travels with the cargo.

Zhitikara gets its buckets straight from production: your order is prepared and palletized at the HTI plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, Ak-Chiy village. A freight carrier hauls the cargo, and the paperwork is the same as for any shipment between EAEU countries. When you place the order, your sales manager tells you when to expect the truck and what the run costs. There is no intermediate warehouse in Zhitikara or anywhere in the region.
Pickup from the factory is also possible if you have a truck. If orders from different buyers are headed to Zhitikara, Lisakovsk, and Rudny, your sales manager can suggest how to combine them in one truck.
The fuel and lubricants depot and staff facilities do best buying on an annual plan, bakeries and cafes quarterly, farmsteads before winter, and builders before roofing season starts.
Pallets arrive sorted by model, so the pit storekeeper can check the order against the delivery note in a few minutes.
The links lead to the region and neighboring towns, each with its own bucket selection.
Each HTI bucket size comes in several versions. At the pit, the bakery, and the farmstead, people look for different things, so before you order, it helps to picture who will use the bucket and how.
Seals in grease, paste, and grain all the way around, keeping steppe and pit dust out.
A one-liter bucket for crews has a plastic handle, while buckets from 8 L up have a metal bail handle with a plastic grip to take the weight.
The tear strip with the embossed word OPEN breaks the first time the bucket is opened. An intact strip means no one has taken grease or paste from the bucket yet.
The name of your warehouse, bakery, or farm can be applied with a label or with IML, which won't wash off.

They're sold by the manufacturer, the HTI plant, and they arrive in Zhitikara on full pallets via a freight carrier. Call +996 222 600 292 to place a request, and a sales manager will suggest sizes for your product or material.
Pricing is calculated per order and depends on size, quantity, handle, color, and printing. Your sales manager will send a quote that includes freight. If you need buckets for several departments, send one combined list to get a quote for all items at once.

No. Our buckets aren't held in intermediate warehouses: the order for Zhitikara is prepared at the plant in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone after you send your request.
For handing out per shift, a one-liter bucket with a plastic handle; for the depot, the 21 L. Learn more on our grease buckets page.
Yes, the buckets are molded from food-grade polypropylene. For dough, bakeries use 3 and 3.8 L buckets with a 200 mm opening. See our dough buckets page for details.
They have the same 332 mm opening, but the 21 L is taller: 333.5 mm versus 286. So for the 21 L, raise the shelf or give it the top tier.
There are two ways: a label on the finished bucket, or IML applied during molding. Labels suit trial runs, and IML suits products the bakery makes on a regular basis.
The HTI catalog lists every bucket with dimensions, weight, and photos. For the region as a whole, see our Kostanay Region page, and for neighboring towns, the pages on buckets for Lisakovsk and packaging for Rudny.

Tell us what you'll store, how many buckets you go through each month, and where you'd like to receive them. Our sales manager will pick the sizes, calculate the pallets, and suggest which items make sense to order for the whole year at once.
